Hydraulics Topic (Hydronic circuits designs)
Hydronic circuits are
design with many different piping circuit configurations.
In addition to simple preference by the design engineer,
the method of arranging the circuit can be dictated by such
factors as the shape of configuration of the building, the
economics of installation, energy economics, the nature
of the loads, part-load capabilities or requirements, and
others.
Each piping system is a network; the more extensive the
network, the more complex is to understand it, analyze or
control. Thus a major design objective is to maintain the
highest degree of simplicity. In this section, you will
find information about the most used piping arrangements
in hydronic designs, including advantages and disadvantages
of each one at Piping
Layout. It is also possible to know about hydronic balancing
and why it becomes essential for a HVAC system at Circuit
Balance. Finally, a practical approach to the process
of designing a hydronic system from the beginnings with
a real life example is briefly covered in Basics.
